Why Penny’s Playce
Pennys Playce was founded in 2011 as a 501(c)(3) not for profit corporation and has been serving Florida families for nearly ten years. Pennys Playce is one of many providers of quality on-site before and after school programs in Florida, serving children from culturally diverse and varying socioeconomic backgrounds in Leon and Gadsden Counties. Pennys Playce employs only qualified and trained childcare professionals.

Each staff member has undergone background screenings, taken CPR and first aid training, and completed a minimum of 40 hours of childcare training course.

Professional Staff
We will provide a pleasant atmosphere of caring responsible children. A positive environment that will help children develop healthy independence, develop trust and students and faculty that provides a learning environment that supports children to develop skills necessary to construct their own knowledge, prepare them for their next school environment and encourage them to become life-long learner.
Our staff is at the heart of our program, with emphasis on freedom with responsibility, and under the guidance of caring adults who help children learn to make decisions and accept consequences for their actions, as they explore and find joy in learning about the world around them. They are selected to be on our team because of their credentials, their love for children, their cooperative attitude, and their talents working with kids. Your Children
Pennys Playce offers academic and recreational programs for children before and after school. In addition, Pennys Playce offers special programs for early-release and no-school days as well as programs for the summer. We offer academic and recreational programs for children before and after school.
